Transformati.on is dedicated to fostering a fair and sustainable transformation in urban and regional development, energy transition, and mobility. We conduct research, build networks, offer consultation, and implement practical solutions to advance a just transition for all.

Our Mission

At the heart of our work is the goal of a just transition. By collaborating with partners at local, national, and EU levels, we engage all relevant stakeholders, test innovative methods, and offer common-good-focused solutions to today’s pressing challenges.

We conduct research on new methods of public participation in urban and regional development, we develop and lead complex participatory processes, we advise municipalities regarding procedural and distributive challenges in the energy transition, and develop new organisational and financial models for transformation tasks.

Our interdisciplinary team includes experts in urban and regional planning, architecture, political science, knowledge transfer, communication and participation.
